Queen of Clubs: August 2007

So I made it... finally... and only now able to blog about it.. since I've been ubergine busy... and my computers dislike me and don't like making it easy for me the be happy.... but yep.. I am still alive...
My flight was far from desirable.. my nightmare. I'm sure compaired to some others experiences it, mine was pretty kewl and easy.. but being as it's my first time flyin by myself... and I hate flying
it was pretty... not to kewleo... but TTL I made it through...
I actually had arrived late for my flight... my driver was looking at the wrong time and we got to the airport a couple minutes before take off.... uhhhuhh... not my fault... so the lady rescheduled me for until 5pm... yeaa that's fine.. but with no way of contactin my new home about the huge (6 hr) delay.. I was stressing.... well it all worked out fine as they called me a couple hrs later at the time I was supposed to have arrived there... and I was able to help out with the market and finally got to see Big Mike.. though he teased me like crazy.. but a great chat none the less.
So I get to the airport 2-3 hrs earlier than I had to be there.. as driver had buisness and so I wouldn't be late.. alrighttyy.. that's kewl.. I had another slight delay at gettin my ticket as the lady earlier that day hadn't booked the ticket.. and I found out I didn't actually have to have waitin until 5 but could have gotten one at an earlier time... sooo... then I found I had another delay... half hr later... which kept getting delayed because of weather storms etc.. so I finally got on my flight at 7:30... TTL! boarded and had no other delays or problems. I had the whole back row of the plane for my enjoyment.. which was great as I was exhaustedly tired.. but nope I didn't end up really sleepin or anythin cause there were some turbulence, and they asked for everyone to stay buckled.. and it was a super short flight. But the Lord blessed me with a wonderful rainbow while I was landing in Monterrey. Absolutely beautiful... thank the Lord.
Paul and Linda were there to pick me up and we had an hr and half trip home.
I'm super busy here.. right now I'm back in the kitchen.. yay!! and when I get back from the Core and we go on road trips I'll be the photographer and makin the news letters and other stuff.. we'll see.. but it's busy and fun... the people here are super kewl and great to be with... And right now is break time and then I go and start the fire for b-b-que.
My home pretty much consists of younger teen guys... me being the oldest young person.... it's weird.. I'm the only one here that doesn't have any siblings... somethin I'm very used to... PTL! But yes it's super different... but we had been plannin on goin on a road trip in the bus they have here.... but plans changed and a couple of the guys are goin to be goin up to the states to do sum fundraisin for band equipment. But yep.. we'll be plenty busy here as well.. and we're onna probably plan on a road trip when I, Linda, and Maria get back from the Core.. which we'll be leavin for on the 4th.. YAY!! I see my luv.
oh well.. thanks Sloshy for the awsum post. Super sweet.. I cried when I flew out of Houston.. it's weird... bein gone...
I think I am slowly slowly converting to coffee... there's not to many tea drinkers here.. so there isn't much tea here.. and I'm wantin to stress the tea that I did brin with me.. (my special Earl grey hehe) ... I must be careful.. I think I'm gonna end up fat.. due to the creamer and sugar. hehee!!
Andd... I need mom to visit me.. yes already.. I don't want snacks.. I was spices... curry especially, and soymilk... and maple syrup grade B. but yep especially spices... absolutely huuuuggeeely needed... sniff... and yes.. I need sweaters.. I forgot how cold it would be in monterrey.. well mountain areas.... and I don't think I brought enough with me. But I shall make due.
I shall try and take pics of the place and of anythin I do.... it's a beautiful house, with a pool and sweat tents... yeaa super weird.. but I want to try it... haha!! when I find time.. okay must run now.. and start the b-b-que... peace hommies.. miss Houston and all my friends... and miss everyone else too..
